A new world of functional foods

I want a world without suffocation from our modern-day food system.

I was angry.

But my anger is my gift. I unearthed my hibernating passion to become a certified Holistic Nutritionist and a chef. I want wild dancing flavours, uncompromised nutritional balance, and I want it fast, and easy.

When I became a mama, my over-controlling, over-protective, and raw judgment, obsessed to seek out what’s truly good to feed to my child.

And, MyUmami by Tammie (previously JONZE) was born.

Health Food 2.0

No toxic ingredients in your food should be a given, not just an exclusive label. We don’t add anything we can’t pronounce, or don’t need, we even use Himalayan pink salt sparingly.

We focus on maximising flavours from a clever combination of whole foods, spices, with high-quality kitchen staples like extra virgin olive oil and gluten-free soy sauce. We balance our formulas so you never have to wonder: ‘Should I be eating this?’.

MyUmami make food that builds your health, not rob you of it. Healthy food that indulges your senses and fulfils your functional needs, we vehemently believe this should be the only type of food there is.

No compromise: Nutrient-Density

We sprout all nuts and seeds, we even balance micronutrient co-factors.

You are complex, and so is your body. We won’t insult you with dumbed-down singular health benefits. Instead, we give you:

  • more fiber,

  • more minerals,

  • more vitamins,

  • more good protein,

  • more healthy fats,

  • more gut-friendly bacteria.

Chok full of flavour

Your grandmother’s food was magical. It was so damn good it made you happy, and you knew it was good for you. We’re not trying to upstage Nana, but we want this convenient, and often.

Real food tastes good. Our chefs are flavour magicians extracting every kind of depth, umami, acidity, sweetness, pungent and astringent flavours then delicately balancing them with their expert palates.
